Sold - This was a commissioned painting done on a tin ceiling tile. I used many colors in the underpainting, then layered the green and blue background using a palette knife. I scraped off the top layer in some areas. The coneflowers are painted in a smoother fashion to contrast with the background. The bee zooming around adds movement.
