This is my Rescue Animal Portraits Page. I started painting dogs and cats when I fostered my first dog in 2009. I enjoyed it immensely and realized I could capture the soul of the animal in paint. I have started painting rescued animals from my travels and here in Virginia to tell their stories of triumph over neglect, abuse, and hardship. I also want to raise awareness about dog and cat adoption and the plight of many animals in this country.
