My pet portraits have a sense of vibrancy and life that a photograph cannot compete with. My style of combining bold color and impressionistic tendencies with realism result in a painting that captures the spirit as well as lifelike appearance of your pet. I like to meet with my clients and their pet to gather information about your pet's special qualities that you adore. I will take reference photographs if needed. I can also work from your photos if the pet is not able to be photographed by me.

I can paint a portrait in oil on wood panel or pastel on paper. The oil painting process takes 2-3 months and includes a photo shoot. Prices start at $250 for 8x8".

The pastel portrait is a quicker, budget friendly option to an oil painting, although I strive to please my clients the same regardless of medium chose. Pastels have a lovely velvety quality that translates fur well. The pastel painting is done from your photograph and prices start from $85.
